Our marriage will be celebrated over a late summer weekend shaped to reflect our commitment to each other, and to the people we have chosen to share it with. Your presence is a priceless gift to us, and we hope to offer something equally meaningful in return. We can’t wait to welcome you into what we have planned.
Neither of us have had the privilege of attending a same sex wedding and the cultural representations available to us are few. As with many other aspects of life, queer people are blessed with a blank slate when the traditional molds fail to fit. We get to choose what traditions suit us, and invent some new ones to share with you. Expect a bit of drama, some irreverence, memorable looks, and come ready to dance.

This celebration will be held at Grange Valley Lakeside Inn & Winery, in the town of Mount Pocono, about ~2 hours from NYC.
The Poconos are known for their outdoor activities and tourism, with no shortage of things to do. We encourage you to explore the area, and even stay a few extra days.

Dinner will be available for anyone arriving earlier on Friday at a nearby brewery. Everyone is welcome. Expect something casual, hearty, and easy. Come as you are, and serve yourself buffet style. Dinner is provided, drinks and transportation is up to you.
Set at our venue’s on-property restaurant, The Waters Edge, this part of the evening will feature a Grooms Roast hosted by our favorite Drag Performer, and dear friend, Harriet Tugsmen. Friends and family will take the mic, and very little is off limits. Leave your clutching pearls at home, as this event is best enjoyed by those with a strong constitution for innuendos, loving insults, and transparency. Dress for a night out, whatever stylish and confident means to you.

We will gather to witness the commitments Nick and Brett are making to one another. The ceremony will be brief and meaningful. We ask that you arrive settled and present. Phones away. Cocktail hour will follow. Dress code description and inspiration below.
Our reception is a full celebration. Dinner is served, bar is open and the dance floor is the main event. Expect to dance, take pictures, and eat well. Irish exits welcome and encouraged.
Your not-so-average afters. This is a late-night gathering for those who answer the call. The night will accelerate before it winds down, and the location will be revealed when it’s time.

Before departures begin, we’ll gather once more for brunch. We will serve a hot breakfast buffet at Grange Valley’s country store on site. This is an unhurried come and go breakfast, and time to say farewells.

We don’t think you will, but you can try. Consider this your invitation to choose a look that will stand out in a good way. Unapologetic color, unique textures, unconventional silhouettes, and breaking gender rules are all encouraged.
This is not a night for restraint, and we want to see you wear something that is uniquely you. Go big and commit! Channel your favorite pop icon at an awards show! Wear white if you want. If it feels slightly daring, you’re probably on the right track. Our only ask is that you can dance in it.
If this is not your cup of tea, wear something that makes you feel your best. A classic suit or formal dress is of course welcome too...but why not try to steal the show? You’ll be in good company.

Average temperature in Mount Pocono on August 22nd typically ranges from a daily high of around 76° with an average low of 56°. The day will be warm but not too hot, and the evening should be pleasantly cool.
We’re not expecting everyone to spend a ton of money on a whole new outfit, though if you’re looking for an excuse please do. We have plenty of creative and cost effective ideas to stand out without spending a fortune. Let us know if you want feedback on your idea, or if you want to brainstorm options.
Guests will be staying both on property at Grange Valley, and five minutes away at Mount Airy Casino Resort. We encourage you to spend both nights with us, and check in on 8/21/2026 with check out on Sunday 8/23/2026.

Assigned rooms
Grange Valley Lakeside Inn & Winery is rustic and charming. They’ve made a ton of updates in the last few years, including refreshing their rooms and renovating amenities. That said, it is still a cabin, but we think its still a few steps above “glamping.” Rest-assured every room has individual A/C & heat, TV, shower, towels/linens, mini-fridge, and coffee maker. The rooms are all a little different in terms of numbers of beds and sizes, and some rooms have a kitchenette. Check your RSVP form to see what your room has.
“Pinsky Wedding Room Block”
Mount Airy is one of the largest casinos in the Poconos, and it’s only ~5 minutes away from our venue. This hotel is a 4-star hotel, and has a lot of amenities including a great indoor-outdoor pool, spa, and a Guy Fieri restaurant. Please note this is a 21 and up property, so if you’re looking for something more family-friendly, let us know and we’ll help you find the right spot. Transportation to and from Mount Airy will be provided on Saturday. Be sure to use the “Pinsky Wedding Room Block” when you book for our negotiated rate. First-come, first-served.
